“I like the the hp/compaq  pavilion dv600012-cell battery. I like being able to use the dvd on flights and not worry about running out of power. I like being able to use the computer without the adapter for millenia on end. (Sure beats the 1.5 hour, if I didn’t use the dvd, on my old laptop) I like the fact that battery sticks down below the bottom of my laptop. It helps keep the machine cool. I usually let the machine run 24/7 (all my machines, actually) with a shutdown about once a week. I also like the fact that the battery sticking out of the bottom of my machine provides room for my mouse in my laptop carrier. I can now use the mouse pocket in my carrier for other things.

The one thing I think should be changed about the laptop  battery is the quality of the latching system. The connection feels inadequate and actually unlatched when I included the battery in my grip on the laptop. I would have given the ‘features’ 5 stars if the battery latch has been more effective.”
